This commissioned carving of a Grizzly Bear in salmon season is sculpted in Indiana Limestone. The soft stone allows for sculpting of fine detail.

The salmon in the mouth of the bear is carved in Pyrophyllite, a stone which resembles the colour of spawning Chinook Salmon.

The base of the sculpture is sandstone.

This Grizzly has a home in Vancouver, BC.

Overall dimensions are 15” x 9” x 6”
